    Amelia Hazard

I obtained my doctorate in dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution, in 2011. I strongly believe that dentistry should be focused on more than just treatment of the mouth. I focus on oral health as part of the body as a whole. I am constantly expanding my knowledge and skill set through continuing education and evidence based dentistry. I love interacting with my patients, and making them as comfortable as possible. I also love making my patients smile! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, oil painting, and taking care of my three dogs.

I pride myself on specializing in conservative Biomimetic dentistry, taking into consideration every aspect of your heath. I am continuously searching for the latest advancements, least invasive procedures, and most natural resources available. I feel it is important to provide the patient information and options so that they can make an informed decision about what is right for them. I graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in 2009. Prior to studying at ASDOH, I attended the University of Southern California and obtained my Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. I have been in the dental field for over 22 years. In addition, I hold a Certificate in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill. Since I began practicing dentistry, I have kept up to date taking many continuing educational classes, ensuring that my patients receive the most comprehensive and state of the art dental care possible. When not at the office I enjoy spending time with my four daughters and my husband Alex, doing Pilates, seeing movies, and traveling to places with warm beaches!

  • Leah
    Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello! My name is Leah, raised in Maryland and then beautiful Arizona. I have spent the last two years living in Boulder, Colorado giving me the experience of mountain life; but there’s nothing like home. I’ve always loved the dental environment, and knew I wanted to become a dental hygienist since the age of 7. Graduated with a bachelors in dental hygiene from Northern Arizona University and have been working in holistic biological dentistry since. I’ve worked corporate, private and holistic, but once you go holistic, you can’t go back! I pride myself in giving each patient the individualized care and education to achieve optimal oral and whole body health with natural products. The most rewarding part of my career is converting patients from fear of the dentist, to making it a pleasant, fun experience. In my spare time, you can find me traveling, exercising, pampering my two cats, or exploring the great outdoors around us.

    Communications Coordinator

I previously worked in the emergency department and gained broad knowledge of current health issues. It was then I decided to follow a different path and began my Masters program in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, focusing on investigative, holistic and patient-centered care.
